Ingrid Bornia, LCSW, Trauma Specialist. I specialize in treating those who struggle with PTSD symptoms and adjustment issues post-trauma exposure. As a therapist, I offer shadow work, evidence-based trauma therapy, using an eclectic approach to help my clients choose to grow from their pain and learn how to better manage their symptoms so that they can be their best version of themselves. I work primarily with those who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression and who have trauma history. My clients meet with me when they have decided they want to process their trauma and heal from past injuries.
I feel that my greatest asset as a therapist is to offer active listening skills to my clients and to present a safe space with the opportunity for my clients to be gently challenged for the purpose of improving oneself and promoting overall wellness and healing.
This career chose me, I did not choose it; therefore, I am relatable and truly empathetic about the challenges one faces when traumatized. I am passionate about what I do as a therapist and take my position in each of my client's life very seriously.
