Hello, my name is Inge Dean. I have been working as a licensed psychotherapist in the S.F. Bay Area for 20+ years. My job as a therapist is to attune and listen to what you are telling me and to support you in freeing yourself from old patterns and past traumas. So that you can make new, clearer life choices to feed your well-being and joy. I enjoy and have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I also see couples and families. People come to me for many reasons from anxiety, depression histories of trauma, and for personal and spiritual growth.
My approach is tailor-made to each person's needs and goals. I work from a relational approach and am influenced by attachment theory, mindful-based somatics, and Jungian thinking. I also invite dreams, journaling, and art into my work.
My style is warm, curious, engaging, and nonjudgemental. I let you take the lead in sharing your concerns and story. I listen to you and inquire with curiosity to understand more deeply. I am interactive in our dialogue and l give honest feedback.
