I honor the decision to seek counseling and am highly committed to helping each individual discover their own internal strengths and resources. I have over 20 years of experience in the health field, first as an occupational therapist, and then as a clinical psychologist. I integrate a variety of helpful change strategies including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expressive therapy (EAET), cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic. I utilize a range of treatment modalities, such as Mindfulness, Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and insight-oriented.
I have expertise in dealing with problems specific to health/wellness, depression, loss, anxiety, and painful life experiences. I also have advanced training in treating individuals with chronic pain from Drs. John Sarno and Howard Schubiner, as well as from the Pain Psychology Center of Los Angeles. I offer telehealth psychotherapy sessions and coaching.
I am highly experienced in working with adults and adolescents. I also have expertise in assisting people who are going through major transitions, and those dealing with medical issues, disabilities and stress-related conditions such as neural pathway pain, PPD & TMS. I am passionate about assisting each individual with living life more fully and completely.
