I work with angry kids, frustrated parents, depressed, anxious individuals and people who are feeling disconnected. I am an Art Therapist and no, you do not need to be "an artist" to benefit from art therapy. I use a strengths-based approach and am trained in multiple evidence-based practices.
Art therapy is an exploratory process which facilitates a deeper self-discovery and understanding of our own feelings and ideas. Art therapy is a way for many people to express their thoughts and feelings, develop self-awareness, identify goals, heal old wounds and feel empowered.
