In a culture, where judging or joking about the sexuality of others is common, talking about personal challenges with our own sexuality is often difficult and embarrassing. You may have just learned about an affair or other act of infidelity and are feeling angry, confused, and hurt; may be wondering why you cannot seem to stop compulsive behavior with prostitutes, anonymous partners, or pornography; may have been sexually abused, not knowing how to find peace and move on; or may feel so much anxiety about sex that you are unable to enjoy it. My expertise is the treatment of sexual addiction, sexual trauma/abuse, and other sexual issues. I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and my credential provides the most current treatment protocols for various problematic sexual behaviors. I am also a PhD Candidate in Clinical Sexology with Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
Guided and inspired by my personal experiences, 15 years of addiction and codependency recovery, as well as my clinical and professional training, my approach is compassionate, understanding, and non-judgmental.
