Mrs. Theresa Sloan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in South Carolina. She received her Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. Mrs. Sloan has also earned Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). She is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the SC Association of Licensed Professional Counselors.

I have helped clients overcome difficult issues from their past and/or present; find freedom from unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors; and go on to live fuller, more rewarding lives as a result. I believe that professional counseling can help provide psychological and emotional healing, as well as spiritual wholeness. I integrate the best that psychotherapy has to offer with scriptural truths. I offer the support and guidance you'll need to help identify and overcome any harmful beliefs as well as destructive behaviors that may be preventing you from fully experiencing your best life, the life that God intends for you to live.
