For 30 years, I have worked with adolescents and adults to improve the quality of their lives and to enhance their relationships. Depression, anxiety, work-related stress, and family/relationship issues can be resolved by working together. Couples may start treatment to improve communication and problem-solving skills as well as to explore sexual and emotional intimacy issues. My experience as a therapist has provided me with various approaches to help people better understand and accept themselves, and to develop more satisfying relationships.
Through a collaborative process and a supportive therapeutic relationship, we identify issues and goals to determine which treatment approach is most comfortable and effective. Our plans may include cognitive/behavioral techniques, an insight-oriented emphasis, a problem-focus or an interpersonal approach to treatment.
