I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) providing individual, couples and group therapy. Kim believes that breakthroughs and enhancements to overall relational, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning will occur as a person increases their self-awareness, and acquaints themselves with their full range emotions, contradictory feelings, interpersonal patterns, and defenses. She helps her patients scratch beneath their surface to explore unmet expectations, and unproductive patterns of behavior that keep them stuck and unsatisfied. Kim views the therapeutic process as a personal "journey" and places a strong emphasis on developing a trusting relationship with her patients, which she deems as vital to growth and symptom reduction. Kim believes in every person’s ability to live successful, fulfilling lives. Her sessions are laid back, relaxed, and she can assist patients in finding the humor or silver lining in difficult situations. She is passionate about empowering individuals, and helping them recognize their own strengths and abilities to cope with stress and challenges.

I believe in our society today we are seeing things rapidly changing, we as individuals are always striving to find the next right thing. One thing that seems to remain the same is helping others and how we feel when we are helping others. We all have a purpose in life we just need to find out what that purpose may be. I strongly believe that we need to meet the client where they are and allowing the client to reach their own goals. I have assisted clients to begin to identify and address the place of being stuck and bringing them to their path of change.

We currently are offering virtual client sessions and in person sessions. I believe that every individual has the capacity to develop a full life based on healthy communication and utilizing their strengths. Having a space where you can speak honestly and openly without judgement is crucial to healing. I use a strength based, emotion focused treatment array to help you be the best you can be! I have a passion for working with clients processing trauma. My second passion is couples counseling. I base my couples work on methods from The Couples Institute, which is a worldwide model for extensive couples' therapy.

Hello! I work with my clients using a Cognitive Behavioral, Psychoanalytic, Solution Focused Approach. Solution Focused means we try to solve issues and problems as soon as possible. I am also a trauma specialist and have worked with military and domestic violence victims for many years. Trauma is relative to each individual and shouldn't be compared. As a Counseling Psychologist I am searching to find health or “ego strength“ in a person. People are capable of having internal positive and negative aspects in play at all times. Hello! My name is Jenny Wildrick. I am the owner of JMW Counseling LLC. Jmw counseling is a small practice with two offices in Dunmore, Pa, and Kingston, Pa. We have five therapists including myself who are are accepting clients. I graduated from Keystone College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and completed my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2017 from the University of Scranton. I obtained my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.
