I work with individuals, couples, and families in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and family conflict, infertitlity, prenatal and postpartum stages. I am trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Internal Family Systems, the Gottman Method, and Structural Family Therapy. Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She has broad knowledge of community based mental health, utilizing community support specific to a client’s needs. She brings expertise from school-based and outpatient settings. She is skilled in working with all ages, but specializes in working with adolescents and adults as they navigate through new life transitions, anger, mood disturbances, and challenges.

In my work over the last 15 years as a strength-based, systemic, solution-focused therapist, I have demonstrated a personal ability in creating strong theraputic relationships with my clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a variety of therapeutic experiences. I work with teens 14+ and adults who have experienced military life stressors, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, women's issues, and family relationship conflict. I incorporate Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Theory (ACT) in my practice. Life experiences, continual change, and transitions can majorly affect one’s mental health. I believe in creating a non-judgmental space and meeting clients where they are.
