With 15+ years experience, I have helped a wide range of people ages 18-60. My goal is to help you become a happier, less stressed, and a more productive person in all areas of your life. Sometimes having someone to talk to and to help you connect the dots of your life experiences can help you understand yourself in a much different way to make healthier decisions for yourself and your relationships. I have done extensive work in women's issues, specifically post-partum depression, infertility, and adoption issues.

I chose a career in counseling because I have always had a passion for helping others. I believe patients deserve a safe place to share and work on struggles in all aspects of their lives. During an initial evaluation, my goal is to develop an understanding of what each individual patient is seeking and provide a thorough consultation of how to direct treatment. I completed a Master of Arts in counseling at Ursuline College. I will not be accepting new patients until March 2024.

Infertility, miscarriages, sexual difficulties, postpartum anxiety and depression can be very hard for you and your partner to deal with and cause a strain in your relationships. Rebecca "Becka" Joanis is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Becka has experience working with various mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, sexual abuse trauma, low self esteem, self harm, relationship concerns, transitional stressors, grief, infertility, and postpartum struggles.

I am a PhD level professional clinical counselor, physical therapist, certified professional coach and (RYT), with expertise in individual, group, and relationship therapy licensed in OH and FL. I have been working with infertility for 25+ years and a neonatal developmental specialist. I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and co- founder of Dare2Care, a Cleveland based LGBTQ focused anti-bullying organization, now an embedded program of the Cleveland Leadership Center. I have significant experience working with grief, loss and relationship betrayal and approach this work from a trauma model.

I have provided psychotherapy services for over 35 years to individuals (adults and children), couples, and families. Once a therapeutic relationship is established, then a treatment plan is formulated based upon my client’s needs wherein each client’s inherent strengths are utilized to maximize growth and results. Resources are provided as an adjunct to the therapeutic process.

Molly Simkins Sluk is a Couples and Family Therapist with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy EFT who specializes in helping couples build greater intimacy and successfully navigate conflicts. She helps couples understand and resolve the underlying needs and emotions that drive the conflict in their relationships. Molly also provides parenting support and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy for parents seeking to strengthen relationships with children and collaboratively face various family and life stressors.

My approach is to view problems or issues from a systemic perspective. That means I am curious about our key relationships past and present, the roles we play, the rules we follow, and where our identity and value systems come from. My passion is to make sense of the ways our internal experiences (relationship with self) and our external experiences (relationships with others) collide and inform one another. I strive to help people develop wholeness of self through unpacking anything that is keeping them stuck.

I understand that one of the most difficult steps to overcome is the first step and acknowledging that you need more support in order to overcome or learn to cope with obstacles in your life. I specialize in working with women experiencing perinatal and parenting issues: infertility and pregnancy loss, depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, birth trauma, and overall adjustment to parenthood. The journey to becoming a parent is complex, and you deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated along the way. Additionally, I enjoy supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationships.

Becoming a parent can be simultaneously the most rewarding and most challenging time in your life. You may be struggling with conception, or you just gave birth and are experiencing scary and debilitating depression or anxiety, or maybe you’ve lost who you are in all the roles you’re playing (mother, partner, employee) and you want to find yourself again without feeling guilty about it. She graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Concentration in Women's and Gender Studies, and the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a Master of Social Work, focusing on Interpersonal Practice. Annie values a holistic and individualized approach to therapy within a cultural context. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients in order to reach their own therapeutic goals.
