I have doctoral training in Clinical Social Work. I provide therapy, counseling, and support that is client-focused and family-centered. I am a certified mental health trainer.

Everyday life can be really hard. Feelings of anxiety, depression, and grief are totally normal responses to these difficult times. My goal as a therapist is to guide clients through whatever is keeping them from living their happiest lives — whether the issue is more recent/due to COVID-19, or a deeper issue that has been draining someone’s energy for years (or a lifetime). I operate from a collaborative, strengths-based perspective to help clients understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I help clients develop strategies to mitigate anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD symptoms that interfere with their well-being.

I take an active approach, meaning I offer honest dialogue rather than passive listening. I pro-actively help connect the different threads of your life–because no one’s troubles exist in a vacuum. Many people are haunted by interpersonal traumas and other wounds that prevent them from living fulfilling lives. Their lives may appear "perfect" from the outside but they struggle with shame, psychological symptoms, engage in self-sabotaging behavior, and feel isolated. I strive to provide a supportive, collaborative, and safe space for individuals to work through their inner experiences to increase awareness of how and why they feel stuck and not satisfied. My focus in therapy is to help individuals explore how their ways of relating to others may hinder growth and wellness and create psychological distress.

A clinical psychotherapist for over 30 years, I work extensively with individuals, couples, and families treating depression, anxiety, grief, and other emotional stressors.
