I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working with adults, children, adolescents, and families in my private practice. Some of the issues I address include: depression, anxiety, learning and behavioral challenges, bullying and conflict with peers, divorce, step-families, death of a parent or sibling, sexual, emotional or physical abuse, school refusal and school phobia, self-harming behaviors, life transitions and identity. In addition to my private practice, I have over two decades of experience working as a teacher, school counselor, Middle School Principal, Council Facilitator and currently as Director of Wellness.
I teach social and emotional skills to Kindergarten-8th grade students and coach teachers and parents. I have a deep understanding of the inner workings of schools and how important collaboration and communication between the systems in a child’s life are so that all the helpers can support the child’s needs.
