We humans are wired for close and intimate connection. When we don’t have it in our most significant relationships, especially in marriage, it is hard to find joy in anything else. What gets in the way of achieving this connection? Negative cycles and unprocessed trauma. I believe that one of the bravest things that you can do is learn about yourself and your story, and then work to change the narrative.
