I have over 30 years of experience helping children and their parents. I help children who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems in school, with their peers or with their families. I use a therapeutic approach that combines talk therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and play therapy, in an environment that is safe, nurturing and fun. I meet individually with the parents to instruct them in skills they can use to help their child. A "Positive Parenting" model is used to identify and strengthen the qualities the parents want their child to develop.
