I believe in a mantra of "Always Keep It Moving", never let anything or anyone stop you from achieving your goals/dreams. There may be some delays or setbacks and that doesn't mean you have to quit. Use those times to reorganize and restrategize. "Where there is life there is always hope." I provide counseling to individuals with various issues that include Stress, Anger, Self-Esteem, Depression, Anxiety, Life Skills, Communication, Crisis Intervention and whatever is unique for the individual.
I have over 20 years in counseling and psychiatric care. I have worked in a variety of settings; office, in-homes, hospitals and prison system. I ascribe to an approach of integrating and incorporating evidenced based theories, to help patients reach their identified goals. Utilizing individual's uniqueness to identify what techniques are their best fit.
I encourage empowerment to pursue hope and not enabling to be dependent. I aspire to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment; while building relationships of trust along with comfortablity of honesty between us, through a team effort approach. I believe in meeting people where they are to help them transition to where they hope to be.
