I am currently accepting clients at our Castleton location for in-person and telehealth. I've worked with individuals who have struggled with trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors, and self-esteem issues. I believe that we all have the ability to change. We just need the right tools to do so. My goal is to help you identify the areas in your life that prolong these struggles. Then equip you with the lifelong tools that aid you in identifying and overcoming problematic thinking, a rigid belief system that could be holding you back, and understanding your emotions and how they affect everything around you.

Life can be a challenge, but there is Hope for Tomorrow. I am dedicated to walking alongside you to find hope and solutions for life's struggles and relational issues. I am able to incorporate into therapy Christian based practices, if you desire, so that your therapy will not be in opposition to your theological beliefs. I am happy to assist you in drawing on your faith as you seek hope for tomorrow.

My original education experience (BA) was in Media Advertising at Indiana University. Working now as a counselor, I am familiar with a change in direction. I often serve as a support for individuals who feel as if their life paths are uncertain. Stress, anxiety, and depression are common among my clients. Teenage years and young adulthood can often bring new challenges and stressors. I believe that therapy can be an opportunity to recognize and address these concerns.

Let's be honest .... relationships can be stressful! Most of the time we might decide to suffer in silence, share details with people who aren't the best "advice givers", or even force ourselves to "accommodate" our partner's needs without being poured into. We can't expect for relationships to become healthy again if we continue with the same attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors when engaging with our loved ones. That's why I'm here; to break up the monotonous routines and to encourage engagement in the use of tools WORTH trying! You can do all things through Christ who strengths you!

Modern life is overwhelming. The pressure of relationships, career, kids, school, money, and "self-care"–it might feel easier just to stay in bed. You try so hard, and things just aren't getting any easier. Maybe you're a new parent, or someone who wants to be a parent, and the everyday stressors of life just seem like too much. Or maybe the thoughts in your head are too fast and too loud: that thing you wish you didn't say, the time you lost it on your loved one, that awful thing someone said to you, how you wish you were different. Sometimes you're not even sure who you are.

It can take a lot of courage to schedule your first counseling session. The therapeutic process involves vulnerability. This might feel pretty intimidating if you’ve lacked a safe space to process your feelings in the past! However, beyond the field of intimidation lies a place of personal empowerment which blooms through the therapeutic process. Unprocessed trauma can often leave us feeling paralyzed in a suffocating shadow of our past. Every room in our head might appear dark & without direction. We may even begin to develop distorted perceptions of ourselves and the world around us; which can lead to a lack of clarity & peace.
