I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 13 years of experience. I have extensive experience working with teens, adults and elders. I work with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief, self- esteem issues, women’s issues, communication skills among other disorders. I believe in a holistic approach to psychotherapy. Working with several local community mental health centers have provided me with a strong foundation to work with a variety of client populations including outpatient therapy, inpatient psych, and chemical dependency and addictions. I have also spent a year working in residential treatment.

With years of training and practice, I specialized in healing my client's emotional trauma, stress, and depression. I provide well-being coaching as well. Most people come to me when everything they have tried is not yielding them the results they need and deserve. Your mental health affects every part of your life. It is crucial that your mental health is the first thing to get in order to have the fulfilling life that you deserve. My ideal client would be open to my observations of their personality; one who knows that I too can learn from them, not only the other way around; who is a good historian and willing to be compliant in sharing pertinent factors to their recovery; one with whom I can establish a basis of mutual trust and who understands that my role as a therapist is not to only tell them what they want to hear; one who can appreciate a good sense of humor; one who is willing to apply my experience, strength and hope to their situation; one who is open to the importance of accepting life on life's terms, particularly the will of God.

I work with young people ages 3- 22 who have suffered loss: home, parent or loved one and other traumas. These young people often suffer with anxiety, depression, confusion, PTSD as well as some obsessive-compulsive tendencies. I work with those who have suicidal ideation, who struggle to overcome their prior trauma. They may not be aware the trauma is impacting and influencing their thoughts and behaviors today.
