As a therapist, I build upon each individual's strengths and uniqueness. I work collaboratively with clients and families to explore their concerns. I believe that to open doorways into a therapy relationship, there needs to be trust and reliability within a warm safe environment. I enjoy helping families grow in the areas of parenting, adjusting to change and communicating effectively. I believe that everybody has the ability to conquer the difficulties they experience in life and come out a stronger person on the other end.

My experience includes working with clients on a variety of issues to include domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, childhood abuse/neglect, sexual abuse, adoption and depression. I have worked within CPS, inpatient as well as partial hospitalization programs. I have specialized in Medical neglect, Emotional Abuse, Sexual Abuse and Chronic Neglect.

I am experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing CBT, TF-CBT (Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT, BFRB, Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. I use both directive and non-directive play therapy techniques, task-centered, solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral techniques as well. *not accepting new clients at this time
