As a therapist, I help young people see that they are not the problem, the problem is something they’re dealing with. In sessions, we talk about what’s been showing up in their lives in a way that feels less overwhelming and more manageable. We explore the stories they’ve been told about themselves and highlight strengths, values, and resilience.
Sessions with children may include conversation, play, or creative activities, while work with adolescents is more conversational and focused on building confidence and coping skills.
