I'm available M-F, 9-12 & 2-5 in-office.
You’re stuck—emotionally, relationally, maybe both. Whether your relationship feels distant, reactive, or cracked by betrayal, or you’re alone in painful patterns, something in you knows: this can’t go on. You’re not after years of talking in circles or surface-level coping. You want insight, momentum, and change that holds. I work with those ready to get radically honest, dive deep, and finally disrupt the cycles keeping them stuck. This is strategic, high-impact work for those hungry for real transformation—now.

I work with clients in-person or via teletherapy, using one-on-one sessions or group therapy.
If you are searching for a safe and supportive space where you can explore and process painful experiences, change damaging behaviors, and create new ways of acting and relating, then look no further. Do you experience any of the following: grief, sadness, or shame that just won’t go away; struggle with an inability to stop binge shopping, eating, drinking, gambling, gaming or using social media; have crippling fears and “what if” thoughts that prevent you from doing the things you really want to do; or get triggered and leap into fight, flight, freeze or shut down for no clear reason?

My ideal client would struggle with diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, or mood-related issues. This client would be self-motivated and have identified goals that are being held back or complicated by their mental health issues. The client would be able to identify areas that are strengths and weaknesses for themselves and would be willing to put forth the effort that is growth and change. Also, this client would be open to new and different suggestions for coping strategies or ways of thinking about difficulties they may experience in order to learn and grow.

My ideal client is someone who wants to actively pursue new paths to find their true, healthy self. Ideally, ready to do the work. I am here to challenge cognitive distortions. I will be a partner in brainstorming issues and goals. Hard work from the client and support from an intuitive counselor will clear the path to the answers within.

My ideal client would be vulnerable yet aware in the beginning. They would be open to learning about therapy options. They would also have many questions, including sharing their fears regarding therapy. My ideal client would also be prepared to complete homework assignments and truly engage in each session. During the therapeutic sessions, I would learn what each emotion looks like for my client and how it impacts their lives. My ideal client's growth is evident in each session that they participate in, and they never give up on them.

The ideal client is anyone brave enough to put themselves first and ask for help. The ideal client is receptive to the therapeutic process and is direct, open, and vulnerable. They also understand that the therapeutic process takes time, and one does not get there overnight. The ideal client is patient with themselves and can give themselves grace and permission to grow. The client will have the goal of personal self-development and is ready to do the work. The ideal client does not expect me to "fix" them but understands that a clinician is a form of support on their journey and that we will accomplish any goals together.

THERAPY: I hear so much negativity in our field about work with people. But - I am amazed by some of the people that step foot into my office. I am in awe of their ability to smile through pain. I feel blessed that I get to share in their strong, resilience and desire to grow and change. I learn so much from them. I’m also frustrated with societies message that emotions like anger, resentfulness and jealousy are abnormal for us to feel. Sometimes they interfere with other parts of our life. These people that I encounter on a day-to-day basis are amazing, beautiful people. To all of them I say-

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
