You're competent, and you're not okay. That combination is hard to bring anywhere, because from the outside there's nothing to point at. The people I work with function well. Jobs, relationships, a life that looks fine on paper. Underneath, something is off in a way they can't explain, even to themselves. Some are carrying things they've never said out loud. Some have read every book and still can't stop. Most come once handling it alone has stopped working. I work with high performers who feel like frauds, people carrying complex trauma, people whose emotions run hotter than they can account for.

You aren’t “broken”—your nervous system is doing exactly what it was designed to do: protect you. If you’re exhausted from masking in a world not built for you or you’re feeling stuck in survival mode after past trauma, you deserve an affirming space where you feel truly seen and understood. If you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, memories, or difficulty communicating your experience, I am here to help. I especially enjoy working with LGBT+ folks who are formally or self-diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and CPTSD. While I utilize a holistic approach, folks often seek me out for my experience with EMDR and IFS.

I enjoy working with neurodiverse individuals and families across the lifespan, especially ADHD and autistic clients navigating transitions, burnout, late diagnosis, or a life that no longer feels sustainable. This may include preparing for college, adjusting to pregnancy or parenthood, changing careers, or balancing work, relationships, health, and your own needs. Together, we look at the whole picture, not just symptoms, to understand what's creating friction and build a life that works better with your neurotype, values, strengths, and circumstances.

Accepting new clients 10/22/26 (book thru my website). No Referral Needed. If we don't have relationships in this life, then what do we have? Relationships are at the core of everything we do. They shape our emotions, influence our decisions, and play a significant role in our overall well-being. When life is full of stress, arguments, chaos, pain, and hurt, it takes a toll on our relationships. So, if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, know that change is possible.

I have over two decades of experience working with individuals seeking to improve their emotional & spiritual health. During this time I have seen first hand how difficult it can be for individuals to admit that they are struggling with their thoughts and emotions and their overall emotional health. It is even more challenging to have the courage to seek out and ask for assistance and help. The good news I want to share is that when I've had the opportunity to work with someone asking for help, that individual is able to improve their mental health and grow to experience their thoughts and emotions with depth and positivity.

You're a giver - but don't know how to receive. And you're very self-sufficient and independent because you can't trust or rely on anyone. On the surface you seem like you're doing well - you have a job, a relationship, you go on trips and so on. But underneath it all, you struggle with an inner critic that belittle you constantly. You struggle with the pressure to be "perfect" and "good" and never feel like you're good enough. Your relationships actually don't feel very fulfilling because you don't feel like you're being your true self in it. At the end of the day, you feel lonely and you chalk it up to "well that's how life is."

I primarily see adult age clients above the age of 21 in my practice. My ideal client is someone who takes the lead in therapy and utilizes our time together in a way that makes sense to them based off of the difficulties they are experiencing. I enjoy helping my patients identify potential roadblocks or thought processes that may be holding them back from their desired lived experience.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
