My goal as a counselor is to meet my clients where they are in a safe and judgment-free environment to facilitate and aid in the process of long-lasting healing and growth. I remember the first time I heard the Brené Brown quote, "You can have courage, or you can have comfort, but we can't have both. Not at the same time." I may have uttered an expletive or two as I was surrounded by colleagues at a retreat; it hit a little too close to home. I find myself deeply honored to be there at the moment when a person recognizes that they want more than what they've currently been experiencing. To walk the journey alongside a person who longs for deeper connections, freedom from their history, or who wants to experience truer joy - it is a tremendous privilege.

Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can be a daunting process—especially when you're still figuring out what you need from therapy and what kind of therapist you’re looking for. I hope that by sharing how I work and what you can expect in a session, I can help make your decision a bit easier.
I value transparency, honesty, and the subtle dynamics that unfold in both what is said—and what is left unsaid—in a session. I offer both individual and group therapy and my work is grounded in a modern analytic, here-and-now approach, meaning we focus not only on your story but on how it comes alive in the room.

Have you experienced overwhelming stress in your life? Do you often feel unseen, unwanted, or under-appreciated? Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or easily irritated? Maybe you’re not even sure why, but you have a feeling something is just not working well. Your relationships don’t offer the support you wish they did. You feel isolated, overwhelmed and angry much of the time, or you are either avoiding conflict or having more arguments than you’d like. But you know there’s more than this cycle you feel trapped in, a way to feel better, to understand the deeper roots of what’s contributing to your stress, and a way to break free.
