It has been my life’s joy and work to walk alongside people of all ages who for whatever reason have found themselves in the trenches. In my career as a counselor I have seen children heal from trauma, teenagers gain confidence through challenges, people who feel hopeless find new meaning and purpose in their lives and everything else in between. No matter what you may be facing, it is my belief and experience that each of us have more capacity for hope, healing and lasting change than we may yet realize.

We will use a little bit of humor, metaphors, creativity, and my experience with IFS, AEDP, and somatic therapy to approach your emotions from a new perspective.
Are you overwhelmed, exhausted, and can’t remember the last time you felt good? Maybe it seems like the treadmill of life never stops and you feel like you are always one second from falling off. You want to feel good in life. You want, desperately, to be present for the people you love and, even, maybe, for yourself. I am passionate about helping people move from pain, tension, and chaos into integration, wholeness, and freedom. I work with teens and adults to help them make sense of their experiences of pain, release the burdens that have been weighing them down, and find more joy.

I work with adults processing childhood attachment wounds and parents facing postpartum challenges, parenting stress, or raising neurodivergent kids. I use Brainspotting, a mind-body approach that helps release what's held in your nervous system. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation. For clients who value faith, I integrate Christian perspectives. You don't have to keep surviving. There's a path forward with more freedom, strength and resilience.

I am proficient in CBT, ACT, Somatic, and MI, we will adapt interventions to your needs.
When your nervous system has been under stress for a long time, even everyday situations can feel exhausting or overwhelming. Past experiences, relationship patterns, or chronic stress may keep you feeling stuck in survival mode. Therapy isn’t about pushing through or “fixing” yourself, it’s about understanding your stress responses and learning how to gently create new patterns. We’ll work together to restore balance, safety, and emotional clarity. Together, we help children, teens, individuals, and couples feel more regulated, confident, and connected in daily life.

Hi, I’m Hannah! Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and taking that first step often comes with a mix of uncertainty and vulnerability. I deeply respect the courage it takes to reach out for support, and I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure to be anything else. My goal is to meet you where you are, not where you feel like you “should” be. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where you feel genuinely heard, seen, and understood.

I am IFS Certified (Level 2 trained), trained in Somatic IFS and I am also trained in IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out, the relational modality of IFS).
The word psychotherapist is greek and means "Healer of the Soul". When you come into my office, I will not label you with anxiety, depression, addiction or any other disorder. You will hear me ask questions like: How is your addiction protecting you from pain? What do you not feel when depression numbs you? Once you witness and heal the wounds of your soul (you can also call it trauma), the symptoms (the 'disorder') can disappear. If you are interested in having a deeper understanding and awareness of your emotions, I will help you to develop a relationship with yourself that is characterized by curiosity, respect and compassion.

As we go through life we face challenges, from these challenges we may experience pain and suffering. As this pain becomes stored within us it creates burdens that may sometimes be too heavy to bear. As a result many may turn to temporary solutions. As I work with clients to explore and resolve pain and trauma more permanent solutions are often discovered and the burden of pain is reduced.

You'll find support balancing evidence-based practices (like DBT, CBT, EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy) with spiritual and energetic tools (like Guided Meditations, Tarot, Chakra support, & Metaphor).
I support women feeling whole again (or maybe for the first time) after major upheavals; a divorce, kids leaving, a faith crisis, infertility, or "just menopause." I'm not a low-cost nor an average therapist. I blend decades of clinical expertise with a non-religious, intuitive approach to healing which includes "integrated aging." If life feels too much right now, like you're in the middle of an etch-a-sketch frenzy, please let me assure you that you're not alone. Call now to explore how my integrated, holistic clinical framework can help you feel better; and remember this is a process, not a destination.

I weave together multiple approaches - from talk therapy to somatic based practices.
I'm trained in EMDR, CBT (including CBT-Insomnia and CBT-Chronic Pain), ACT, and Somatic Experiencing. I draw on polyvagal theory to help you understand and support your own nervous system - because so much of what we carry lives in the body, not just the mind.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
