I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. I have over sixteen years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with pre-teens, teenagers and adults . My experience includes working with those that are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, substance abuse, social skills, family of origin issues, grief and loss, self-esteem and body image issues, and relationship issues. My approach is strengths based, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques and motivational interviewing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with fourteen years of direct experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Anderson University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I have experience working with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings. I have extensive experience with child/adolescent care and adolescent issues. I enjoy serving adolescent and adult populations alike.

My expertise is in treating mental health and substance use concerns in a holistic and confidential manner. I know issues with depression, anxiety and more can impact EVERY aspect of our lives and I am passionate about helping people lessen that negative impact. I'm skilled at providing a comfortable, social atmosphere to explore issues. I focus on 'the real shit' with a strong dose of humor and provide each person I see with an individualized and evidence based plan particularly suited for their own healing and recovery. We have survived 100% of our worst days. We've got this one.

My experience and passion have been focused on helping couples and individuals work through a relationship crisis, including infidelity issues.
