I enjoy partnering with people as they make changes in their lives. I use EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Strategic Therapy techniques, among others. With large amounts of research behind it, EMDR can be quick and effective with longstanding as well as newer problems. I aim to help people release old reactions and build new skills for living after they've completed their healing work.
As an EMDRIA Certified clinician, I use EMDR successfully with clients to resolve syptoms stemming from traumatic experiences: panic, flashbacks, fear, difficulties with friendships, and other problems. I am experienced in working with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families. I am skilled in responding to rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence survivors.
