I love working with women who are navigating difficult relationships both at home and at work, assisting them to achieve greater levels of confidence and life satisfaction. I am trained in several kinds of trauma treatments and am inspired by the courage and determination I see as people gain healing, putting their past in the past. I also have many years of experience supporting individuals who are either clergy families of clergy members. I am a pre-licensed mental health counselor who rearned my master’s degree in mental health counseling at Purdue North West. I specialize in depression and anxiety, communication issues, life transitions, women 's issues, and those affected by loved ones suffering from narcissistic personality behaviors. I work with women , adults, couples, and children ages 9 and up.

I work with clients struggling with various mental health needs including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, loss, and substance use. I work with women struggling with perinatal mood disorders, those struggling with food/mood connections, parents of children with a disability diagnosis and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I have been working with children and families in the schools and in private practice for over 20 years, specializing in infant/toddler development, adolescent therapy, behavior analysis, play therapy, & adolescent girl issues. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Infant/Toddler Developmental Specialist. Dr. Ann LaFrance, PsyD, HSPP graduated from California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University, Sacramento, California, where she trained in the practitioner-scholar model. In addition to her PsyD, she holds a BS in Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and two Master's Degrees (Guidance and Counseling, and Psychology.) While Dr. LaFrance has provided "cradle-to-grave" psychological services since the 1980's, her primary areas of interest and practice are existential/spiritual and end-of-life issues, and teen and adult trauma survivors: sexual assault, domestic violence, and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces

Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist committed to providing comprehensive assessment and consultation services to children, teens, and adults.
