I have over 15 experiences experience working in a variety of treatment settings, both civilian and military. I have experience treating clients with issues related to trauma, depression, mood, anxiety, impulse control, grief - loss, personality, psychosis, more. I received my MS in Psychology with an Addictions specialization in June of 2022, and specialize in Substance Abuse Group and Individual Therapy, PTSD, Anxiety/Depression, Grief/Loss, and other general mental health concerns, using CBT and DBT techniques. I work closely with military individuals and have served both as Active Duty Army and currently serves in the Indiana National Guard with a Medical unit. I have also spent 22 years volunteering as a coach and mentor for LGBTQIA+ groups and have experience in several areas unique to the community.

My practice is made up of primarily adults. I enjoy working with individuals as well as couples. My primary goal for treatment is to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where my client's feel open and comfortable processing issues in their lives and improving mood or anxiety symptoms. I have experience working with a variety of diagnostic issues including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, bipolar, addiction issues, marital discord, adjustment problems and ADHD. In addition, I also offer psychological testing services to clarify diagnoses, direct treatment and provide assessment and recommendations for treatment.

I am a committed and highly dedicated Mental Health Therapist with extensive experience in counseling people from diverse backgrounds. I possess an outgoing personality with great rapport-building skills. I love working with children, teens, families and couples. I believe everyone should have a safe place to cultivate healing as one works through life's difficulties. I have worked in many different levels of care. Many of my clients are seeking help with problems such as depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction, grief and loss, stage of life changes, personality disorders, mood disorders, low self-esteem, family conflict and trauma.

I have been working in the field of counseling for 25+ years. I have had the pleasure of working with individuals from many walks of life with various issues. I have worked with very diverse populations including federal pre-trial, post-conviction and probation clients, all areas of substance abuse issues, drug testing, anger management, EAP services, rapid response emergency services, grief/loss, domestic violence, family services, marital, youth, and spiritual counseling. I have extensive experience working in the area of high conflict co-parenting-divorce issues .

I’ve been a licensed mental health counselor for over 10 years and practicing in the field for over 14 years. I’ve worked in a variety of settings with clientele ranging from pre-teenagers to older adults. I’ve helped individuals who’s struggled with behavior problems, grief, depression, anxiety and other life concerns. My therapeutic style tends to be eclectic in nature, but has foundations in Adlerian and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches.
