Therapy can help serve as a catalyst for this change, so you can live your best life. I have over 20 years experience working with individuals who have encountered symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood swings, grief and loss, addictions, and impulsive behaviors. I utilize evidenced-based practices that are proven to be effective including DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, IDDT, EMDR, person-centered treatment and strengths-based therapy.
My goal is to work with people to become more equipped to address their current issues. I like to say we all have our own toolbox. We might encounter times when we do not have the right "tool" to fix the problem. Therapy can assist in adding more tools to your toolbox. I use a variety of techniques in order to tailor treatment to each individual's needs.
