My goal is to make you feel "complete"...so whatever that is, I'm here to help. I work to help you alter, improve, and uplift the challenges you may be facing. Helping you to manage depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, family conflict, to name a few, is the key to a more positive outlook and a way to leave the past behind. Each person is unique, so each person has their own set of goals to be developed. Each person requires their own personal approach. I can help you by also assisting with connections that can go beyond therapy so that all of your stated needs are addressed.

Waitlisted through March 2023. Tulip Tree Therapy, LLC primarily focuses on child and family therapy in elementary aged children and their families, adolescents, & teens. I provide support to parents who may have a child who is struggling with behavior issues. I lead parents through play-based interactions to broaden relationships and create continued growth in a child or teen's emotional response to others. I am able to advocate and support families through the IEP process with their school. I also provide support for teens & college-age adults with Gestalt techniques, CBT, and motivational interviewing as they navigate stressors.

The poet Rumi wrote, “These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.” My role as your therapist is to assist you in identifying, understanding, and communicating the feelings you are feeling as messengers telling us a story about how your present day experiences and feelings are in conversation with those formed before you had agency, awareness, and choice. I strive to create a safe environment where, together, we can explore the chapters of your life in order to give you the insight necessary to implement change, alleviate suffering, and grow as a thinking and feeling person in a complicated world.

I work collaboratively with individuals and families to support the changes they are seeking to achieve in their life. I come along side my client and help them to resolve the issues that have brought them to seek therapy. I seek to help each person to achieve a greater quality in their personal and family relationships, sense of life purpose and overall sense of well-being. I view my role in the therapeutic process as offering unconditional acceptance and support as my client works to address the circumstances that have brought them to seek out counseling services.
