Are you hurting inside to the point that you feel frozen with grief?
We see clients one on one or in group sessions in the Greenwood office. We also offer grief support to factories, warehouses and industrial employees that have lost a coworker either to an illness or accident. More businesses are reaching out to ask for help to support their employees through a major loss in the company.

Issues involving grief and loss as well as those related to interpersonal relationships are a couple of my areas of specialization.
The ideal client is one who understands that there is a problem. They are ready and willing to take the steps necessary to solve the problem. The ideal client is prepared to collaborate with a professional to explore their goals and brainstorm ways in which they will achieve them. No matter what the issue, the client recognizes that they are responsible for the choices that they have made, as well as the ones they will make going forward. In thinking about this ideal client, I would imagine that they are appropriate in terms of abiding by boundaries.

I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, problematic sexual behavior, and trauma.
Are you feeling overwhelmed as a parent? Unsure who you can turn to for support and not knowing where to begin? I hear you. Raising children who struggle with emotional or behavioral struggles can make you feel defeated. As a therapist, I provide a safe and private environment to help you and your child manage these tough times. I am a licensed clinical social worker with immediate availability for scheduling. When I meet with children and teens, they feel that their feelings do not matter, making it challenging to identify and express them. This could sometimes mean turning their feelings inward or outward, which can be difficult

Aside from treating a variety of problems (depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, divorce, grief and loss, anger); I often conduct psychological assessments to help clarify a diagnosis, especially ADHD in children and adults.
I enjoy working with individuals of diverse age groups, from childhood to adulthood. My goal is to empower my clients to deal more effectively with their life circumstances by eliciting insight and equipping them with adaptive coping skills; while utilizing their faith to assist them in the healing process. When working with children, I work closely with the parents to facilitate a team effort in addressing the needs of the child and the family as a whole.
