I am passionate about working with Anxiety, Depression, Life Changes, Religious Trauma, and life skills. While I work with a wide range of concerns, my specialty is treating substance use, problem gambling, anger, and abusive behavior.

When you’re the one who steps in, takes care of things, and makes sure everyone else is okay, it can be hard to notice when you’ve reached your own limit. Maybe you’ve been through a big life change, or are starting to feel disconnected from yourself or your relationships. Your mind can’t seem to slow down or keep up. The expectation to get everything just right may feel constant. You might feel emotionally drained under the quiet pressure to perform or be someone others can depend on. If this resonates, you deserve a space to slow down, catch your breath, and let go of holding it all together. You are welcome here.

I understand that it takes much strength to seek out assistance when needed. I believe we are not made to live in isolation, and we do best when we are part of a community. By recognizing the events that have formed us in life, we can learn from them and become a better version of ourselves.

I show up as authentically as I can in my work as a therapist. I believe that many of the challenges we face with our mental health are shaped by what we've been through and the ways we've learned to cope. A lot of those strategies may have helped us get through hard times—but sometimes, they stop working the way we need them to. My role is to walk alongside you, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and support you in finding new ways of thinking and responding that feel more aligned with who you are and where you want to go.

Over the many years I have worked as a clinician and specialist in private practice, in schools, and in hospital settings, I have learned that everyone has his or her personal needs, and to be very careful not to generalize as opposed to learning the strengths and challenges that each of us has. With that said, the goal is to clarify the issues being faced, the needs to be addressed, the goals that therapy hopes to attain.
