Mental health is health—let’s treat it that way! In the moments when you feel stuck, unsafe, or overwhelmed, I'm here to assist. My goal is to work alongside you as you find your inner strength, self-worth, and grow toward the best version of yourself.  While clients get to choose the topics they would like to discuss in session, my goal is to make every session an opportunity to learn more about yourself and take away a new perspective. I feel honored to be part of your journey.

When we lose someone or something precious to us, it is normal and very healthy to grieve. Grief is uncomfortable and raw, but part of the human condition as we experience both the small and profound losses in life. Our hearts feel broken, and they are broken open, but not destroyed. Confronting the painful feelings of grief, whether caused by death or an anticipated death of a loved one or pet, loss of a job, a new medical diagnosis with loss of good health, breakup of a significant relationship, or any life-altering situation, can make us feel vulnerable, lonely, and empty. But it's facing the grief that promotes healing.

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration, including those within the LGBTQ+ community.
I take a flexible, client-centered and feminist approach, tailoring therapy to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build nervous system regulation skills, and gently - or directly if that's your vibe - challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.

You're holding a lot, maybe more than most people around you realize. The anxiety that keeps your mind racing at night, the relationships that feel chaotic no matter how hard you try, the drinking or substance use that started as a way to cope and now feels like its own problem. You might be someone who looks like you have it together on the outside while quietly feeling like you're unraveling underneath. If any of that sounds familiar, you're exactly who I work with. I specialize in working with adults, particularly women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, navigating anxiety, trauma, and substance use, often all at once.

Hello! I'm Evan Davies, I specialize working with substance use, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Alongside my specialties I have a knack for helping people that go to therapy feeling ambivalent as to what they're looking for, what they're struggling with or how to describe it. I want everyone to know that they're welcomed. Finding a therapist that you feel is a good fit and just therapy in of itself can be difficult. Being aware of that helps me strive to meet people where they're at, modify my approach accordingly and help with any barriers during the onboarding process.

It takes a lot of courage to open up to someone, when so many people haven’t felt safe. Everyone has a story that deserves to be heard. I am here to listen to your story. It is important. You are important. Allow me to walk alongside you as you unpack what has happened in your life and how to move forward. Maybe it is time for some self-compassion. I am happy to answer questions, and we can take it slow. I hope you will consider moving toward taking care of yourself, and call me.

Sometimes, it’s not “just stress”—it’s your nervous system still reacting to things that happened long ago. You may look like you’re holding it all together, but inside, you feel anxious, shut down, or like you’re constantly bracing for something to go wrong. That’s not a personal flaw—it’s your body protecting you in the only way it knows how.

Trauma, stress, and burnout can quietly shape how you think, feel, and show up in your daily life. You may look like you’re managing things on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. I help individuals work through the impact of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and major life changes so they can feel more grounded, clear, and in control. Many clients also struggle with boundaries, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that feel hard to change.
