I am a sex-positive, LGBTQIA affirmative, polyamory friendly, and kink aware therapist. My approach to therapy is fundamentally collaborative and affirming. I am here to meet you where you're at so we can make steps down your personal path together. I want to help you to better understand your own feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and means of coping to move you toward feeling more like your authentic self.

Many of our feelings and thoughts are outside of our awareness and continue to influence our everyday choices. Left unattended, these feelings and thoughts can come out in unhealthy ways – often resulting in depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and/or low self-esteem. As a result, we can feel powerless to change our current circumstances and end up self-sabotaging what we want out of life.

It is not always easy to reach out to a stranger for help, yet you know you are ready to make a change in your life. My focus is on helping clients by understanding systemic or external factors that may impact your relationship with yourself and others. With that understanding we then work together to use that understanding to influence how we treat ourselves and engage the world around us.

No one gets to where they are by accident. Sometimes life is hard, things are out of our control, and we need a little help to make it through. I meet people where they are and try to help them towards the life that they want to live. I provide a space of non-judgment and acceptance and hope to help clients also find this within themselves. I am a social worker who specializes in couples and sexual-related issues. I do a lot of work with couples around infidelity, trust and sexual issues. I spend much time helping couples overcome the aftermath of affairs and help lead them to a better relationship than they previously had. I also work with individuals with problems like depression, anxiety and loss. I do my sessions exclusively by video and phone and have done teletherapy for about five years. My style is very casual and thoughtful. And I have become very adept at doing teletherapy. I find that most of my clients prefer this format.
