My ideal client is ready for some change. My ideal client is open to ideas and willing to give input. I love working with young (newly coupled), pre-marital couples and with the empty-nesting couples...and everything in between. I like to see people willing to try something new as Brainspotting is really taking off. The next population I look forward to working with are the perinatal/pregnant/postpartum women /couples. That training is coming up soon.

Sessions are about more than just talking; we incorporate both your mind & body, so you can experience wholeness again. And we always go at your pace, never pushing to places you don't feel ready to be. Trauma leaves us feeling broken, damaged, and disconnected from our true selves. You may be fed up with feeling triggered in everyday situations, isolated from friends who can't understand, or guilt over what happened to you.

I make sure that each client receives respect, understanding, high quality professional services and the best possible outcome. I have experience in working with veterans, individuals with mental and physical disabilities, immigrants and women who suffered from domestic violence and abuse. I provide a wide variety of resources and am working in collaboration with other social agencies.

I believe people seek out counseling for one of two reasons. First, they find themselves in a crisis situation with their life out of balance. This may be due to the discomfort of anxiety or depression, an out of control addiction, the stress of an unsatisfying relationship, a child who is struggling or the heartache of grief. Secondly, their life may be in balance but they are at a decision point or feel a need for self-improvement including career concerns, a desire to improve a relationship or a need to explore obtaining their fullest potential. Both are equally valid reasons to seek the assistance of a caring professional.

I am a licensed counselor with over 10 years experience in working with individuals and families. I want to meet you where you are in life and walk alongside you as you navigate various challenges. I work with women , teenagers, and young adults dealing with anxiety and depression. We work together to develop coping skills and mindful activities that work best for you.
