You are in a relationship where an ocean keeps growing between you and the person you love most, exhausted, with nothing left to give.
Or you are the one pulling away, drowning quietly, unable to explain why. You scroll through your phone and see everyone else moving forward and wonder why it feels so out of reach for you.
Or you are not in a relationship at all, and you feel the weight of that too. Stuck in the same pattern, the same ending, wondering why real connection keeps slipping through your fingers. You are carrying a quiet ache that follows you everywhere.
Something brought you to this page and it is not an accident.

We’ll work together to restore balance, safety, and emotional clarity. Together, we help children, teens, individuals, and couples feel more regulated, confident, and connected in daily life.

This gave me incredible exposure to not only varying degrees of mental health in children, but also to the foster and adoption system.
Being able to sit in the room and be present with whoever is sitting across from me is something I am incredibly passionate about. Being able to work with a wide variety of ages, personalities, and mental health diagnoses only makes my job that much more interesting and engaging for me. I don't think I'm able to name 'my ideal client' because I don't think I have one. I want to be able to help whoever I can with any and all of the strategies and tools that we can come up with together, in the room. It's all about showing up however each and every one of my clients' needs me to show up.

Counseling can be intimidating, but I want to foster a safe, compassionate, and empathetic place where you can talk about the things you don’t know how to talk about. As a therapist, I seek to create a space for your true self to shine through as we work together to confront the challenges, insecurities, and past traumas you carry, and to ultimately find healing. At this stage as you consider therapy and seek to find the right fit, I want to encourage you by simply saying that you are enough. You do not have to be more than who you are. And who you are is worthy of love, of care, and of mental and emotional health.

Something’s wrong, but you can’t quite name it. You've been going through the motions and somewhere along the line, the color started draining out of everything. You're not in crisis. But you're just... not okay. And you've been not-okay long enough that it's starting to feel normal. And it shouldn't.
Here's what I can tell you after 15 years of doing this work: that feeling almost always has a source. Whatever it is, I've helped a lot of people find it and start building something that actually feels like living. You don't have to have it figured out before you call. That's what we do together.

My professional background includes experience in child welfare, hospital, hospice, and nursing home settings, giving me a strong foundation in child development, trauma, relationships, family dynamics, and the healing process. Since beginning my career in 2018, I’ve supported individuals and families from diverse backgrounds through a variety of life transitions and mental health challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2020 and specialize in trauma-focused therapy. I’ve learned that life rarely goes exactly as planned, and having the right support can make navigating the unexpected a little easier.

Adoption Therapists
Does my adopted child need therapy?
Not every adopted child needs therapy. However, many can benefit from seeing an adoption-informed therapist, especially if they were victims of abuse or neglect, appear withdrawn or disconnected, have behavioral or developmental issues (which may or may not be related to their adoption), are struggling with feelings of grief or loss surrounding their birth parents, or find it difficult to establish an identity, a challenge that often becomes most apparent during adolescence.
When should adoptive parents seek therapy?
Prospective parents can benefit from therapy even before an adoption—for example, to voice worries and fears; to reconcile infertility struggles, if relevant; or simply to prepare themselves for parenthood. After the adoption, parents who are struggling to bond with their child; are unsure how to talk about adoption or related issues, such as race; or whose child is dealing with developmental, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns can address these and other issues with the help of an adoption-competent therapist.
Is family therapy appropriate for adoptive families?
Family therapy can be invaluable for strengthening the bond between adoptive parents and children, helping the latter feel more secure in their place in the family. Family therapy can also help adoptive families navigate complex communication issues—for example, parents who feel uncomfortable discussing race with their child, who in turn feels invalidated by their silence, or a child who has questions about his birth parents but avoids asking them out of fear of hurting his adoptive parents’ feelings.
What therapy is not appropriate for adoption issues?
A discredited therapy known as “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy” or “rebirthing therapy”) should not be used to treat adopted and foster children, though it was largely designed for this population. Attachment therapy involves restraining, coercing, and punishing the child in order for them to “release” negative emotions and attach to their new caregivers—techniques that are abusive and dangerous and have even proven fatal in some cases.
