I am also trained in EMDR and can offer specific treatment for those struggling with trauma or issues from the past.
Image a life that allows you to move forward, experiencing all life has to offer to it's fullest. Change is possible and through the guidance and support of therapy, one can maximize all that life has to offer. Change lies within each of us, and with personal responsibility and direction one can achieve life goals. The potential of any individual is determined not by past struggles but in one's ability to overcome personal struggle and capitalize on one's inherent resilience. With guidance and direction, one can move out of the shadows of the past, into a vibrant, hopeful future.

If you have experienced a trauma or a disturbing life event EMDR therapy can help you feel better faster.
Sometimes in life things happen that we don't feel we can solve on our own. Things can build up over time and take a toll on us emotionally and physically. Therapy is a place where you can make sense of things and heal. We can develop a plan specific to your individual needs using evidence based therapy techniques like Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reproccessing ( EMDR ). Both these therapies are extremely effective for treating anxiety, depression, and trauma related symptoms and distress.

I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and am trained in various CBT modalities including CPT and CBT for depression.
I believe that every person can heal and create the life they want. It is easy for past trauma, life transitions, and daily stresses to keep us from feeling balanced and healthy. Therapy is a safe place to learn new skills, gain insight, practice self-care, and to find purpose and meaning in everyday life. It is also a tool to empower change and to promote healing.

You've tried everything! The things that worked in the past aren't working now. You can't figure out if you have just run out of steam or if the last few years living through a pandemic have just wrecked you. Books and podcasts aren't cutting it. You don't want to go to a therapist who is just going to nod their head at you for an hour a week. You want real solutions and change.

Tapping deep into the roots of my training and experience as a depth psychotherapist, trauma specialist, meditation practitioner and mentor, and transformational coach, we work with a powerful mix of leading edge therapies like EMDR , Depth Hypnosis, somatic-based modalities and energy medicine.
How long have you been hearing the call to a different way of being with yourself and the world? It might just be the quiet whispering of your heart urging you to something more. Or perhaps the whole universe is shouting that something has got to change, you can’t keep living like this. Avoiding our fear of change can keep us stuck. But your capacity to heal is only limited by your beliefs about what is possible. Genuinely transformational work is ultimately a mix of intentional effort and surprising playfulness. It’s about engaging your inner life in new and creative ways in the safe space of a trusted relationship.

Are you afraid of judgement? "No one could ever possibly be okay with my choices?" The hardest part of me finding my own therapist was finding one that I felt unjudged by. I use a combination of ACT, EMDR , CBT, and Narrative Therapies that has been shown to be effective for a wide range of challenges including: PTSD, OCD, Depression, Anxiety, and Addictions.
Everyone has a story with ups and downs, twists and turns, hopes and disappointments. Being alive is about doing what you care about, in service of your values, while accepting and thriving through your story’s plot twists. I enjoy helping people make sense of their story and to set free their free will, so as to live in the freedom of your chosen values. In addition to my Masters in Social Work, I also have a Master of Arts in Theology. While I will honor every client’s personal/spiritual beliefs as valid and their own, clients that wish to include their Catholic/Christian values will find the support they are looking for.

EMDR Therapists
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an information processing therapy that helps clients cope with trauma, addictions, and phobias. During this treatment, the patient focuses on a specific thought, image, emotion, or sensation while simultaneously watching the therapist's finger or baton move in front of his or her eyes. The client is told to recognize what comes up for him/her when thinking of an image; then the client is told to let it go while doing bilateral stimulation.
