I have over 16 years of counseling experience specializing in families, couples, and grief. My previous experience in a local mental health center allowed me to see a variety of clients presenting with issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, and social anxiety disorder.

Jason Murrey (he/him) is a licensed mental health counselor associate, military veteran (USMC 2003-10), who is passionate about assisting, educating and counseling adolescents and adults to reach their full potential mentally, physically and spiritually. He specializes in working with and treating individuals that have experienced trauma and secondary trauma in their day-to-day work (i.e. first responders, counselors, social workers, teachers, lawyers, doctors, etc.). He works with individuals 10+, couples, and families.

Hey there! I'm excited you’re here. Balancing work, relationships, and family can be extremely difficult...adulting is rough, am I right? Growing up in the Google era, I too understand the social media anxiety experience. How do you manage information overload and make meaningful connections in a rapidly changing world? Additionally, I offer animal therapy with the adorable ICAN therapy dog, Levi (see pic below), providing unique support in our healing work together.

I have a passion for working with children, teenagers, and entire family systems. I have a family-centered approach, meaning I aim to include families in sessions with their children and/or teenagers as much as possible. I'm a firm believer that you can only see so much change in a child or teenager's life if they aren't allowing their family to work through those changes with them.
