More recently, I have seen a lot of college students and adult females struggling with anxiety, depression, life stress or transitions, and relationship trauma and healing.
Hi my name is Keeli! I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a background in mental health case management, school-based services, community mental health and private practice. I believe in meeting people where they are and feel one of my best strengths is the connection I have built with so many clients throughout my years. My goal is to work in collaboration to determine your needs and what you want to get out of therapy so we can make a plan that fits best with you. I want to be an unbiased, but honest support as you work towards your goals and healing!

Online therapy for adults in Indiana.
You’re the one who holds it all together, but inside, you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you overthink everything, struggle in relationships, or feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. You’re self-aware, but that hasn’t been enough to create real change. I work with individuals who are ready to go deeper, helping you understand your nervous system, heal past wounds, and finally feel grounded, confident, and secure in who you are.

Life can be very complicated. You may feel like you are doing everything possible to make things better for yourself or for someone you love, but have run out of energy, ideas, or both. You may have a relationship with someone you love but just can't seem to get along. You may be a parent trying to best figure out how to help a child or teen who is having problems. You may feel burdened by sadness, fear, or stress. Or perhaps you have old wounds that seem to keep interfering with your ability to create the life you desire.

At times we may feel lost or overwhelmed. We may have uncertainty when it comes to navigating challenges we face. We seek freedom from our struggles and more balance in our day-to-day lives. That is where therapy with me comes in to play. In my office, I believe that there is a place for every person to be who they are while learning ways to navigate the world around them. In my work with clients, we work as a team in order to build up healthy strategies to cope, explore deeper reasons behind our struggles, and heal from past hurts.

Sometimes life can feel beyond hard; it can feel impossible. For me, this story took shape as a dark tunnel with no visible light at the end. It looked like mourning an old life that I had to release while learning how to move forward in the dark, and deciding what it meant to create a life worth living under unexpected circumstances. Many of us can find ourselves in situations where the skills and tools that kept us safe for a lifetime no longer work, or are simply not enough. We find ourselves facing circumstances that aren’t fair, aren’t our fault, feel out of our control, and/or feel like too much.

I work with individuals who want to live more fully but aren't always sure how to start . Many feel misunderstood, disconnected, overwhelmed by expectations, or uncertain about where they're headed. They often find themselves navigating life transitions, anxiety, and questions of self worth. Many carry intersecting cultural, familial, and lived experiences that shape how they move through the world - and they're looking for a therapist who sees and honors that.

Appts available. You aren’t “broken”—your nervous system is doing exactly what it was designed to do: protect you. If you’re exhausted from masking in a world not built for you or you’re feeling stuck in survival mode after past trauma, you deserve an affirming space where you feel truly seen and understood. If you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, memories, or difficulty communicating your experience, I am here to help. I especially enjoy working with LGBT+ folks who are formally or self-diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and CPTSD. While I utilize a holistic approach, folks often seek me out for my experience with EMDR and IFS.

FAQ - About Adult Counseling
Why should adults see a therapist?
Adults may benefit from therapy for a wide range of reasons—whether it’s managing symptoms of a diagnosed mental health condition like anxiety or depression, navigating life transitions, coping with grief or trauma, or simply seeking support during a challenging life period. Many adults find that therapy helps them build healthier coping skills and better process their emotions, which may lead to better relationships and reduced stress. It’s important to note that, unlike psychiatrists or primary care physicians, therapists do not prescribe psychiatric medication. However, they will often work alongside prescribing clinicians to ensure coordinated care and can provide behavioral therapy as an important addition to psychiatric medication. Mental health concerns can look different in adulthood than in childhood or adolescence, so finding a therapist with expertise working with adult clients is important. Conditions like major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for instance, may present or resurface differently in adulthood than in childhood or adolescence. Adult-specific stressors, such as job strain, caregiving responsibilities, relationship challenges, financial stress, or identity transitions, can also influence the onset and type of symptoms an individual experiences. Adult-focused therapists, therefore, are trained to understand these complexities and tailor care accordingly.

How do I know if a therapist is the right fit for me?
When seeking care, it’s important to understand a therapist’s treatment specialties and their overall approach to treatment . Some therapists focus on common adult conditions like anxiety or depression, while others specialize in areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. It’s also important to consider a therapist’s training when seeking care. Therapists hold various licenses depending on their training and state requirements. Common therapy credentials include Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs). Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) receive additional doctoral-level training and may focus on assessments or more specialized therapeutic approaches. All of these professionals can provide talk therapy but do not prescribe medication. When searching for a therapist, consider their credentials and training background to ensure a good fit.

How do I find a therapist who sees adults?
Psychology Today’s online directory allows you to search specifically for therapists who work with adults. Each provider profile includes key information such as clinical specialties, therapeutic approaches, licensure, accepted insurance plans, languages spoken, and session fees. Reviewing these details can help you determine whether a particular provider aligns with your needs and can indicate whether they are a good match for adult clients.
