My ideal client is someone who’s tired of carrying everything alone — anxiety that won’t quiet down, old trauma that still shows up, relationship patterns that feel stuck, or emotions that hit out of nowhere. They want clarity, stability, and real connection. They want to feel like themselves again. They’re not looking for perfection — just a safe place to land, make sense of things, and finally move forward with support that feels steady and real.

Do you feel that, despite your best efforts, something has not gone as well as you had hoped? Are you finding yourself in conflict with a loved one or extended family? Often times, discontentment can brew for months or even years before it is first verbalized. It can be subtle at first, arguing more with a loved one or not even bothering to argue at all. But it often grows, like an emergency siren getting closer. Even when that siren gets unbearably loud, it can still be nerve-wracking to say, "Enough is enough, we need to do something different."

Therapy is a journey for every individual. I see my clients as captains while I am their
navigator, helping them reach their destination through a process called change. Obstacles are present in all journeys, but the barriers in each client’s life are so uniquely challenging that they often feel “stuck” or unable to leave the cycle that is creating the problem. As a therapist, I aim to focus on specific emotions and feelings while listening to language and meaning. During sessions, I relate what my client says about their problem to the content of our discussion then use systems theory to construct thoughts about their problems.

Do you feel isolated in suffering in a room full of your favorite people, when embracing your partner, or even with a past therapist? Navigating life’s struggles and transitions is unsettling at best, even more so when you find yourself unable to ground in your current relationships. For some, a nonjudgmental, safe space is needed to examine and address the barriers that prevent connection so that you can approach change with curiosity instead of fear. I have experience in assisting individuals, couples, and families of all ages in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, & substance use concerns.
