For over 25 years, I have provided forensic consultation to New York State and Federal courts on criminal, family, and civil matters. Also, I see patients on a regular basis for neuropsychological testing to evaluate the effects of brain trauma, learning disabilities, and ADD on everyday living. In addition, sex offender work-ups (which include computer-based testing and clinical polygraph) are offered through my practice (NY Forensic) for the purpose of risk assessment and dispositional recommendations for the court.

I utilize cognitive behavioral interventions, mindfulness, Gottman and Imago couples counseling, EMDR and trauma focused treatment in my practice.

I have been a licensed clinical psychotherapist since 1993. I've worked for Catholic Charities and the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services and started private practice in 2013. I emphasize psychodynamic psychotherapy (I studied at the Psychoanalytic Institute of California), but shape my approach to each individual client and his or her needs and goals. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who experience difficulties coping with daily stressors (e.g. school, work, family/peer issues, self-image) and mental health issues, such as anxiety and mood disorders, including depression. As part of my practice, I work with parents to help them develop a roadmap to work with their children, as their needs change over years. I have helped children and adults that were diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. My practice includes individual therapy with adults and children (play therapy) and family therapy.
