I frequently accept new patients for telehealth psychotherapy, specifically adults residing in California. Medicare and Optum accepted, inquire about other commercial insurance plans.
Therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of issues. Many people come to me experiencing emotional and mental distress, relationship issues, and questions about the overall quality and direction of their lives. Common concerns include worry and anxiety, depression, loneliness, career and work issues, challenges related to retirement, difficult family dynamics, and needs related to long-term recovery from substance use and other addictions.
I believe that healing is possible and that it is a journey. My integrative psychodynamic approach incorporates relational, experiential and insight-oriented methods, as well as mindfulness and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Therapy. Clients often describe me as warm and engaging.
Starting therapy is a courageous step! I welcome you to share your story, your struggles, and your dreams. Call me now to learn more, and feel free to visit my website.
