Iman J Ross's Groups
Real Talk: Man Style (Not Actively Meeting)
This group is for men only (ages 24+). We explore the meaning of authentic manhood and the roles of being fathers, husbands, sons, uncles, providers, protectors, and mentors. We explore the barriers to fulfilling these roles and discuss solutions to achieving our goals and objectives for our personal, family, spiritual, financial, and professional lives.
Dads Healing Dads (Not Actively Meeting)
This is a grief recovery group for men only. Where does Dad turn when his baby or child has past away? When he is hurting too but everyone is telling him to be strong? When others are looking to him for solutions and all he has are questions, pain, and confusion? Come out of the isolation and cold of despair and meet other Dads who are walking in your shoes. Dads Healing Dads offers men a safe outlet to share, vent, learn, and grieve without judgment or pretending.
F.O.C.U.S. Teen Anger (Not Actively Meeting)
The F.O.C.U.S. Program is designed to address poor coping skills, thinking errors, inappropriate communication styles, and impulse control issues that fuel anger management issues. The acronym F.O.C.U.S. stands for Focus On Constant Utilization of Skills. The F.O.C.U.S. Program is a 12-14 week commitment to change for the teenagers and their families who actively participate in other training topics including positive decision making, parenting skills, safety and supervision choices. New group enrollment has begun and space is limited.
