I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) providing mental health services to school- aged Children (5 to 12), Adolescents, and Adults. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2011. I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2013. I have been working in the mental health field for about five years. I have received my training in Level II EMDR by EMDRIA and is currently participating in the prestigious North Carolina Child Treatment Program for Certification and Rostering in TF-CBT.
I have worked as an outpatient therapist, in residential homes,child development programs, and have provided In- Home services in addition to working in Private Practice. I have experience working with a broad range of presenting problems such as but not limited to;
Attention- Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Abuse Reactions. I use Evidence Based Practices such as Trauma Focused CBT, DBT as well as EMDR. I am also skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy and CBT therapy for children. I incorporate parents in the children's treatment as appropriate.

Groups
Teletherapy Trauma Recovery Group
The teletherapy trauma information group is 60 minutes long and meets for 10 weeks. In this group we will be exploring different ways your traumatic experiences have affected and are still affecting your life. The trauma information group will provide concrete information about post-traumatic stress reactions, safety, self-care, remembering, and more. We hope that upon completion of this group you will have an increased understanding of the impact of trauma, decreased isolation and shame, and increased capacity for self-compassion, emotional regulation, and coping.
