The scope of my therapy practice is based on the belief that children are growing, developing individuals who at times need assistance beyond their families and school structures to develop emotional and social skills, self confidence, and coping skills to handle stressors. Children are often more open than adults to change and I absolutely love getting to see them transform and grow. I work with children and adolescents ages 4 to 18.
I specialize in working with children and families with behavioral and emotional issues. CBT, TF-CBT and play therapy are the main methods I use when working with children in therapy. I also work with parents to increase positive parenting skills and improve communication skills within the family structure.
In network for all types of Mississippi Medicaid (Traditional, Magnolia, Molina, United), for United Behavioral/Optum, UMR, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, First Choice Health Plan of Mississippi (including SAS), Value Options, and for Tricare. $75 cash pay rate for those uninsured.
