I am here to help. My job as a counselor is to provide a safe environment - free of distraction and free of judgment - where you can work these things out with someone you can trust. I am there to help you discover the tools you need to work through tough situations, and to help you to become confident in who you are and how you can serve others! Illuminated Pathways is super excited to announce we have a new member of our therapy team. His name is Dwight and he loves to be petted and be hugged.
There are many areas in which I am equipped to help. While it may be helpful to keep in mind that very few people fit nicely into a single category, together we can discover great tools, unique to you, that you can use to be successful. Sometimes we go through things we want to forget, but we can't. I provide techniques to help using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help individuals who have endured some sort of trauma in their lives, whether it has been physical, mental, or sexual abuse, or witnessed abuse.
