Examining and shifting age-old patterns can be an overwhelming endeavor to take on alone. My role is to offer you a compassionate, authentic, and non-judgmental space as you embark on that journey. I support folks to cultivate joy, ease, and meaning in their lives, even when doing so feels impossible. This might include strengthening executive functioning skills, exploring gender or sexual identity, or learning self-validation in an often invalidating world. Together, we'll identify effective ways to move through life's most difficult moments - the past can't be changed, but we can transform how it influences our present and future.
I have experience supporting those who have been harmed by poverty, housing instability, relationship violence, and systemic oppression. I frequently work with LGBTQIA+ folks and can provide letters in support of gender-affirming care. My therapeutic style is trauma-informed, playful, collaborative, practical, and harm-reductionist.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, relational-cultural therapy, and motivational interviewing. I'm informed by somatic practices such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and mindfulness, as well as Parts Work (Internal Family Systems). At this time, I exclusively see clients through St. Louis DBT's practice.
