I'm passionate about helping people navigate relational challenges-whether as individuals, couples, or families. Our relationships play a vital role in our overall well-being. Often, the struggles we face are deeply connected to how we relate to those closest to us. It’s human to long for connection, for a sense of safety and belonging in the arms of our loved ones—be it a partner, a parent, or a close friend who feels like family. Yet, these very relationships can sometimes be the source of our deepest pain. My goal is to help you make sense of that and find healing, connection, and clarity in the relationships that matter most.
I support individuals, couples, and families in repairing the hurt that often emerges within intimate connections. My style is compassionate, trauma- and grief-informed, rooted in emotionally focused, attachment-oriented therapy, and consistently attentive to the cultural context influencing your experience, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment.
As an associate professor at Governors State University, I teach and supervise future therapists. As a clinician, I help people navigating complex trauma and grief. I was also a family physician, which gives me a deep appreciation for how physical health and emotional well-being connect—especially when supporting clients facing illness-related challenges.
