Understanding that therapy is more likely to be helpful when you feel comfortable with your therapist, and hopeful about the therapy, my approach emphasizes accessing each person’s unique strengths and resources in order to facilitate growth, new learning, and fulfillment. I use a person-centered integrative approach drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and somatic theories to work collaboratively with you toward mutually agreed-upon goals.
I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Connecticut, Virginia, and Washington, DC. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional, I work primarily with individuals and couples 18 years old and older, focusing on such challenges as: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and concerns around life stressors.
