I specialize in bringing together evidence-based and integrative approaches to trauma, OCD, anxiety disorders, and depression. I am a pragmatic therapist; my goals are my client’s goals and their thriving, and therefore, I tailor my approach to what is most effective for each client. As part of this integrative approach, I initially focus on deeply understanding my clients' experiences, struggles, and values. I believe that therapy should be highly personalized, with the focus not solely on the client’s struggle but on helping clients thrive, so that they feel seen as whole people.
My clinical approach integrates somatic therapies, ACT, Exposure and Response Prevention, EMDR, trauma theories, neurobiology and polyvagal theory, attachment, and cultural theories. I utilize EMDR, and I am trained in the gold standard treatment for OCD through the International OCD Foundation.
With each client, I bring extensive training, humility, and genuine care. Rather than presenting myself as an expert, I serve as a guide and provide a safe space for clients to express their pain and authentic selves.
