Do you feel that you are all alone and no one will ever understand what you are going through? We all need extra support and to know that we are not alone. I hope to foster a therapeutic relationship where you feel nurtured, respected, and know that your thoughts and feelings matter. My approach to therapy is strengths-based. I treat the whole person and do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe each individual is unique and can overcome any obstacle. I practice a non-judgmental and empathetic approach and support individuals as they confront their issues and help them realize their unique strengths.

You can be self-aware and still feel stuck. I help adults 18+ move through anxiety, attachment wounds, and relationship stress with honest, depth-oriented therapy that creates real change. You’ve likely done some reflecting already. Maybe you understand where your patterns come from. And yet...anxiety still spikes in relationships. You still overthink conversations. You still feel responsible for keeping the peace. Insight is powerful. But insight alone doesn’t always create change.

I am trained in interpersonal, CBT, CBT-I, ACT, DBT, Biofeedback, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, and Trauma-informed therapies.
Often we are struggling and are unsure of why or what we can do about it. This can lead us to feel hopeless and helpless and often sets us up for additional worry and sadness. Assessment is a tool used to identify the cause of such struggles as well as your unique strengths that can support positive change.

I weave in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and hands-on tools like journaling or simple crafts.
You’re a high-functioning woman who carries a lot. On the outside, you manage work, family, and responsibility well. Inside, your mind rarely rests. You feel mentally overloaded, tense, and tired of always being the strong one. You want clarity, steadiness, and space to breathe without falling apart or slowing your life down. You’re not looking to be fixed, you want support that helps you stay grounded, focused, and sustainable.

Accepting new clients, as of May '26! Are you feeling stuck in patterns or cycles that no longer work? Do you feel misunderstood by people in your life? Challenged by the limits of your brain or body when you have difficulty meeting expectations set by society? I am here to help! We can work together on processing experiences from your past, building healthy relationships with yourself and others, or strengthening a compassionate inner voice. The way I approach therapy is built around the idea that no one exists alone. The way we are now is a result of the relationships, experiences, and connections we've had throughout our lives.

With extensive experience in OCD, trauma, couples therapy, and faith-based issues, I provide compassionate and effective support to individuals/couples navigating life’s challenges.
Feeling stuck can be so frustrating. Where do we go when our usual coping skills stop working? Having experienced both sides of this question, I have a deep understanding of the challenges involved, both personally and professionally. This is where therapy can be especially helpful in identifying and removing obstacles. While it isn’t a cure-all, it can play an important role in healing. By integrating more imaginative approaches alongside cognitive methods, therapy can help clear these roadblocks and support deeper, more holistic healing.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
